Emily McCarty is a Color, Concept, Print & Graphic designer that has an affinity for turning art and creativity into practical, long-lasting, and net positive product. Currently living in Vancouver, B.C. working as a Colour Designer for Strategic Sales at Lululemon.

She grew up in Santa Clarita, a high-desert suburb of Los Angeles and went to college at Academy of Art University in San Francisco on athletic scholarship for Track & Cross Country. She entered as a Fashion Design major but fell in love with the screen print studio and received her BFA in Textile Design May of 2018.

She was recognized by the CFDA for her Senior Collection and showcased her work at the 2018 Future Fashion Graduates Showcase in NYC. Soon after, Emily moved to New York to begin working at Calvin Klein Underwear where she became an Associate Designer for Color and Concept.

In March 2022 Emily relocated back to the West Coast and began working as a Graphic Designer for Perfect Press.

 

Wanting to utilize her background in fashion, she accepted a position as a Designer on the Concept Colour team at Lululemon in November 2022. She served as team lead for Accessories Colour up until her shift onto the  Campus team December 2024.
