Apparel Graphic Design Concept
The goal was to create something different from traditional campus merchandise, moving beyond oversized school name graphics to a design that reflects UBC’s unique coastal surroundings and captures the mood.
I researched university bookstore products and explored what TikTok creators were designing for their sororities and clubs. I compiled a mood board and sketched multiple concepts, using photographs of sunsets over English Bay, which borders the UBC campus. These images captured the layered silhouettes of the mountains, water, and clouds at golden hour.
The woven patch design was then applied to Lululemon apparel and accessories to show versatility across categories.
The result blends the heritage of campus merchandise with a modern, minimal aesthetic reflective of UBC’s coastal vibe
